Good posts, Kim. Now try to say even more about the film itself, and what you think works well or doesn't work well in the edit. Describe everything that YOU have contributed, too.

The Semi Final ( Piece)
After break I had a look at the video we produced. I had to check out the green screen we had trouble with when I had help Freya, she introduced me to Adobe After Effects which is much easier to edit the green screen and the edges.
As you can see here is the Premiere Pro application, it was very hard to smooth out the edges.

Since I used After effects I managed to smooth them out. the video is almost finished, all needs doing by next week is placing the shop windows behind the band.

Editing The Music Video
In editing I tried to synch parts of the film with the song. I had trouble doing this but I managed to get it in the end. At some point during this part of the session I spotted a continuity error which Patrick didn't spot. We argued about this for a while but I was the arrogant one to keep complaining that there was an error, it turns out I was right . We started editing from the beginning because we realized didn't want to start at the end and the find out it don't work when we edit the beginning. We chose to use green screen so I could put pictures of shop windows which is what the song is called.

Green Screen with the band
From our practice with green screen, we got the Idea what to be doing to get it correct. For E.G The lighting and stretching the green curtain
While the band was setting up their drum set I was making sure Ariane and Patric knew what to do with the camera shots. I got put in charge of starting and stopping the song when I thought was right. The drummer had a hard time hearing the song so Mr. Durren had to get extra speakers and put them next to the band which worked well. From then on, we moved onto the filming a couple times in front of them and close ups of their instruments and faces. Although, I spotted the problem with the shot we took in front because we caught the end of the guitar was in the drummers face so the Idea was to film the same shot but switch the singer and guitarist around so the end of the guitar was in the right side of the camera.
After lunch it was time to capture the footage and practice with ALL the pictures I found in google website. I had some trouble with getting all the green out when adding the picture so I'll have to wait till next week to get more professional help. Also next week when everybody is here, we have to put all the picture and cut out some clips we want for the proper video.

Green screen practice
The group went to the drama studio to use the green screen. I was filmed in front of the green screen, and i found a green piece of paper to experiment with making holes in the image. I learned that the curtain has to be straight to prevent any waviness in the final video. It really needs to be lit brightly. We then captured the footage into Premiere and played with the 'colour key', and picked the green of the curtain. It didn't work too well, because the image bled. Brighter lighting wil help, and also we were wearing blue clothes, and blue is quite close to green. We will email the band and tell them not to wear blue or green clothes!

This is an image from the web - it's not me!

Unfortunately my groups band could not come to to their song today so we have to wait till next week. Although, it does give some time to do more planning with our project. Ariane is the director and may do the filming, Patric is doing editing and I'm being the producer. I will also be doing the filming plan.
I will be making sure the finished product works perfictly with the green screen, tilting camera shots, the pictures of the shop windows and to check if the syncing/timing works . If not, I will do my best to make it better.
-Before Lunch-
As a group we helped each other with a Video Shooting Schedule. This shows the time and date everything needs to be done for when the band gets to us next week. The schedue wil also help us stay on track.
-After lunch-
The plan is to practice with the green screen, so that we don't watse time when the band come next week

Music Video Practise
Before break we had to decide what song to use for our music video. We all had very good Ideas when Hannah had Rihanna- Please Don't Stop The Music one her mobile phone and I said that will do. After break we started filming and it was hard to keep to song and the lips synched. We went Wong a couple times so I decided to keep track of the time of the song so we did not watse time stuck in one place. Also there was another issue, the year 11's came out switch lessons. I chose to move on to a different place for the next part of the song and we woud do that scene later.

This is when I was drawing the Emo's thoughts and feelings in his diary Michael very kindly let us use. Robert was contacting Jonathan to tell him our progress.

We didn't forget white balance.....

I also suggested how to film bits of the process on what I thought will look best for the film.
I was pleased they listen to me as it was an important tip of filming...

The whole experience went through our the whole morning till the end of lunch. At the moment, Jonathan is editing his film while I am doing my owe edit, then as a group can decide which is better to show Derrek Budd next week. He will then tell us the positive and negative comments about our whole project.

Kim, you will need to either fill in the missing entries on here, or produce your reflective commentary on paper.

Change of plan.
This morning, Michael, Robert, Jonathan and I were searching for a good spot to film our scene where Robert (as the emo) hesitates when he was about to knock on the door with a sign saying 'Bullying counselling . After that we went back to the classroom to edit what we've got so far. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best we could do so Mr.Durren drew out a template of shot and view we could add to our film. While Robert was redoing the scenes, I had a thought, I suggested we should put film Robert from the stairs in front of him and when Robert does his bit, we could also film Robert about to go down the stairs but looks back. More decision making.

This is MY editing session, this was decided only by me.
I chose these shots because I personally felt the bullying point will get across to the viewers, as I included the clip of Robert's face, I thought it may show bullies what they are doing to people.

This afternoon as group, we arranged to go and film a IVC school where we would have bin filming the scene when the emo finds his locker graffitied on it. Notes saying Emo,Go Home You Fag, Outcast and a picture of Hangman with a bit showing " Your Gonna Die" I also added the effect of people signing it, making this look like many different people did it. Of I created these pictures...
... Next week, We should be going to film at the bridge above Cambridge rail way station, IVC school and Robert's house to finally finnish our film.

Kim - this is FAR too little for a blog post! Re,member that this is the main evidence of what YOU do each session, and of your ability to REFLECT on it!

Derek Budd
Every group spoke to Derek Budd about our ideas. He then gave us suggestions and feedbacks to help us with our project. Derek Gave us a helping hand by reminding us about wherever we are going, put a notice up to show the ordinary people, we are filming
in this area. I suggested I will do that for my group while they sort out the risk assessment and find an exelent location.
I have done the notice board and her it is:

Editing
This session, the group was playing the part of filming, acting and sound. We decided that Jonathon would film, Michael would do the sound, Robert and I would be acting. We chose to express our sequence more through the camera angles than through the emotions from the actors. This is because we wanted the viewers to decide the genre for themselves. personally, I thought my group was quite successful. However, the footage was too short, bright because the previous owner of the camera had put brightness to the max. Also camera person forgot to equalise the whight balance.
It was enjoyable to run about infront of the camera. Personally I much prefer to act than watch my own acting. We achieved quite good continuity in our footage.
